Made from corn, rye and malted barley, Buffalo Trace is aged in new oak barrels in very old warehouses. Refusing to surrender quality, this award winning bourbon is batched from a maximum of 40 barrels at a time. This is a top bourbon whiskey, lovely and smooth, with plenty of vanilla, barrel char and spicy complexity. Tasting note Brown sugar, toffee apple, sweet oak, custard, oily espresso beans, a touch of chocolate-covered raisins and toasty wood. Good length finish with sweet spices, cinnamon and toffee.
